Grade what people actually do, not what they can remember

In an assessment, learners do a real task in a simulated workplace with no hints. Every step is recorded, so the grade reflects how they worked, not only where they ended up.

What the record shows

Two students reach the same final plan. One checked the machine data, asked maintenance and protected the biggest order. The other guessed and was lucky. The record shows the difference, and so does the grade.

01

How it works

Every exercise follows the same rhythm as the real job: a problem arrives, you investigate, you act, and the simulated company responds.

  1. 01

    Set the assessment

Choose an exercise and run it as an assessment: no hints, no worked example, AI help switched off.

  2. 02

    Learners do the task

Everyone faces exactly the same situation and the same numbers, so results are comparable.

  3. 03

    The work is scored

Scores per skill, such as diagnosis, safety discipline and communication, plus flags for risky shortcuts.

  4. 04

    You review and decide

Replay any attempt step by step before you confirm a grade.

02

What you practise

Concrete tasks taken from the exercises on this page. Each one is done with real data, under real constraints, inside the same simulated company.

  • T01

    Process, not just answers

What they looked at, who they asked, what they changed, in what order.

  • T02

    Safety discipline

Whether they followed the required procedure before acting.

  • T03

    Judgement under pressure

Trade-offs between cost, time, quality and customers.

  • T04

    Communication

The emails, notes and recommendations they wrote along the way.

What your organisation gets

Evidence, not attendance.

  1. 01

    Fair and repeatable

The same situation for every learner, and a record anyone can check.

  2. 02

    Harder to cheat

There is no answer key to copy: the result depends on a chain of decisions in a live situation.

  3. 03

    Evidence for accreditation

Show reviewers what students can do, with the recorded work to back it up.

03

The tools you work with

Working tools, not screenshots. They read the same live data as the rest of the simulated company, and what you change in one shows up in the others.

  • 01

    Forecasting

Compare forecasting methods, tune them, read the error and publish one.

  • 02

    Material planning

Explode the bill of materials, net it against stock and release orders.

  • 03

    Work orders

Work orders, repair history, spare parts and who is assigned to what.

  • 04

    Incident console

The live state of services and hosts during an outage, with the runbook actions.

  • 05

    Security alerts

Alerts, accounts, endpoints and signs of compromise in one view.

  • 06

    13-week cash forecast

Where cash dips below the minimum, and what the lender's covenant test will say.

  • 07

    Legal research

The matter's library of authorities, searchable, with what each one supports.

  • 08

    Contract drafting

The draft clause by clause, the alternatives, the client's instructions and drafting checks.

04

Six levels, one exercise

Teachers and trainers choose how much help each person gets. The exercise stays the same; only the guidance and the grading change.

The exercise solved step by step, with what each step changed.

What every attempt leaves behind

Judge the work, not a quiz score. Every attempt is recorded as it happens, so you can see how someone worked, not only where they ended up.

  • Every action, in order

What was checked, who was asked, what was changed and when. Nothing is overwritten.

  • Scores by skill

Each exercise scores the skills it was built to test, from what was actually done.

  • Weak habits, flagged

Poor patterns in how the work was done are flagged, not only wrong final answers.

  • A replay of the attempt

Step through the session as it happened, with typed personal details masked.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Planning a pilot? See how a pilot runs.

Can AI tools do the assessment for the student?

The built-in AI helper is switched off in assessments. And because the work is a sequence of actions in a live simulation, there is no single answer to paste in.

What is recorded?

Actions, tool use, messages and outcomes. Session replays mask anything typed into input fields.

Is it only pass or fail?

No. Learners get scores per skill, and the specific mistakes they made are flagged.
